The Class Divide

On reading the book Half Girlfriend by Chetan Bhagat where he has described the class divide between those who speak english well and those who don’t I kept thinking about the psychology of the uneducated, illiterate masses in India. There is a story worth writing about in exploring the psyche of the unprivileged. Why should they keep the country clean, not spit on the roads, swear and shout , rob and murder , if they have not even had the chance to survive, eat two meals, be literate, at least preserve the rudiments of humanity. We as a society look down upon those less privileged than us, pity them at the most or tolerate them.
