Lucky Day

3rd April 2017 was extremely lucky day for me. Not because I suddenly came into a lot of money or found a diamond lying on the road ! No its because I got back my lost AAdhar card which till then I had not even realized that I had lost.
2nd April was Sona's first exam of 2017- JEE Main, an extremely harrowing day. It started off by me the milk packet springing a leak first thing in the morning - not a good thing. Somehow it was overlooked and S dropped Sona off at the test centre. Then he came and I took my aadhar documents, and we went to the adhar centre as I had to rectify my birthdate in the card. It was closed as we found but unknown to me I dropped my card there at Khadki. When we came home I serenely put the folder  back in the almirah, not realizing this. The day passed by. S & I went to Kondhwa to reecce the next exam centre. The next day in the evening I got a call from the building watchman who said that some poor man had found the card at Khadki, and then walked all the distance to give it at the society's gate. I was astounded. I immediately told him that I would come to get it. I checked in the folder - and the aadhar card was not there. I had actually dropped it! Thankfully when S got the card from the watchman it was a bit folded, but quite intact! Quite amazing in fact. The watchman told me that he had called up the previous day as well but someone who took the call told him that noone by my name stayed there and it was a wrong number. I was flabbergasted. I asked Sona, and then she said that she had not realized that the watchman was asking for me , she thought it was a wrong number. Both S and Sona then started scolding me for dropping my aadhar card in such a careless manner. Sadly we could not get the poor man's number who had taken such pains to bring the aadhar card to the correct place. I would have very much liked to meet him and thank him . But such a lucky day! Dropping a document, not realizing it & then getting it back in one piece too! I ascribe all this luck to watching Kapil Sharma's show on TV the previous day. He really makes everyone laugh & being positive reflects on everyone around us.
